Why airtel people lie that they provide 115KBPS where as they dont even provide 115KbPS through mobi

i said 8KB/s by using edge enabled phone that%26#39;s only late at night in the daytime the

download speed rarely reaches 4 KB/s most of the time less or more than 2,the maximum network utilization in the day is 40% most of the time near 20-30%,but the airtel people still say they provide 115

kilo bytes per second where as the truth is they dont even provide 115 kilo bits per second,

even today when i gave my application to quit their connection they said they provide 115 kilo bytes per second, such a liars, every person in the customer care department is a liar from their agents to customer care people everyone is fooling people

someone should sue them,i have wasted more than 1000 /- Rs. by surrendering that no. but i think thats

better than wasting my total day on slow internet.

Answers:

Please understand that there is a difference between connection speed and Internet speed. Connection speed of 115 kpbs is the maximum speed that Airtel gives you thro` your mobile. But the actual speed that you get is upto 70 kpbs.

In a layman language, assume that you want water for your house and you subscribe for water thro` corporation with a pipe of 12cm dia. This is the connection speed... That is the maximum amount of water that you can get.

But the actual water you get will be less than the capacity of the pipe which is called the actual Internet speed. It is in accordance with the nearby users. ..

So, please compare / have a demo and buy the next time. well I could tell u how to make internet for airtel free. open the setting menu in ur mobile%26#39;s internet browser. go to the proxy server address. (u may need to go to advanced settings). thye last 2 numbers should be 99. change the 99 to 211. no surfing the internet is free. At least now u won%26#39;t be chraged for slow internet. try hutch
