Definitely.
When you bring it into a Sprint store, tell them that you need to do a ESN swap. ESN swap is when they deactivate the service on the current phone you%26#39;re using and move the service to another phone.
The ESN swap that you%26#39;ll do will not extend your contract since you didn%26#39;t buy the phone from the sprint store (when you buy a phone with them, that%26#39;s when it extends your contract). There is no such thing as a termination fee for an ESN swap. This is a simple procedure that you can even do through customer service line. As long as you have a Sprint phone that%26#39;s clean (meaning it%26#39;s not tied to another account or reported stolen), you%26#39;re good to go. They probably wouldn%26#39;t under the same contract.
They would either make you sign-up for a new contract.
OR
They would make you pay the contract termination fee and then set-up a new contract with you.
But the above would only happen if you are removing the Sprint phone that you currently use off of their service and replace it with the phone off of eBay. Usually what they%26#39;ll make you do is extend your contract another year or two to do it. If you use a sim card then it obviously won%26#39;t cost you anything, but I don%26#39;t think Sprint has started using sim cards yet. They wouldn%26#39;t make you pay the cancellation fee and then the startup fee again though.
