What you can do is ask if you can extend your contract in exchange for a new phone at a reduce price.
If you can%26#39;t, then just wait until the phone drops in price. Phones not named iPhone are constantly dropping in price. i just did it myself. I am with a contract for several years and they continue to try to hook me up with another plan. You do not have to do that. You can stay with the same plan and get a phone for the price you indicate. They will insist to extend your existing contract. but stay with your existing contract. no u wont have to cancel ur contract and u can keep ur same # and no they dont extend ur contract. U will however have to pay full retail for the phone though and it will be way much more than the $60-70 ur wanting to spend..however if can try and search ebay and find a phone that u like for the price u are wanting to spend. but with ebay u will want to check and triple check to make sure that its a new phone or that the ESN is clear otherwise u will buy a phone that u cant use because 1 it doesnt work or 2 the ESN is bad. but good luck with it. hope i helped.
