Why doesnt cingular make phones with a qwerty keyboard?

LAME.

Answers:

Cingular doesn%26#39;t make any phones, they just provide service for them.

They do support the Blackberry, Palm Treo, Blackjack, etc...

You should go to your local AT%26T (formerly Cingular) dealer... blackberry pearl, htc wing, treos, and their are to many phones to name with qwerty keyboards. you really need to go on a cingular website and check the phones out before asking this question!! AT%26T (formerly Cingular) does in fact make phones with a QWERTY keyboard...

Blackberry, Treo, etc. all have this feature. You should go to your local store and look before assuming otherwise. Well, Cingular doesn%26#39;t MAKE phones. They only SELL them and provide service for them. They do, however, sell some phones with QWERTY keyboards. You have to remember that most phones with QWERTY keyboards are going to be PDA phones. The Blackjack, 8525, Palm Treos, and the BlackBerry Curve, 8800, 8700c, and 7290 all have full QWERTY keyboards.
