Why does my text messages come so late?

I also noticed that when I sent txts it is recieved late as well.

Example: I got a text today that was SENT at 2:38PM but STORED at 8:14PM

Also, sometimes when I send texts it says delivery unsuccessful but the other person still recieves it. Whats the deal?

Another one. I SENT a text at 11:02PM and it was RECIEVED at 2:48AM the next day

I have an LG chocolate phone and Verizon Wireless service and I have tried dialing *228 to choose option 2 however, it doesnt work..it says "Message FCC st st.." and than my phone alerts me telling me to contact customer sevice.

What is the deal? Thanks!

Yea. thats odd. lol i would just definitaly call comstumer support or take it to verizon. they need to look at it.

good luck! it%26#39;s probably because there was no service or your phone was turned off. thats what happens to mine when i receive a text after i turn on my phone. this is not part of your question but sometimes when i text to someone it sends it to someone else other than the person i text.its weird. happened once thats all. one good way to check for delays. send urself a text message from your own phone. you will see how fast its going thru the system.

but keep in mind, you have to still pay for them each way! lol
