personally i would pick sidekick but, it depends on what you think makes a phone a good phone i would go with the sidekick 3. the only thing is you can%26#39;t do anything really untill u get the internet for 20$. sidekick 3 its way better and cooler looking Get the least expensive one, without all the bells and whistles. The extra options are cool, but the novelty usually wears off in a few weeks... Also, the less cool the phone is, the less likely it%26#39;s going to become a target for thieves. (which will lead to expensive replacements, or cancellation fees if you are in a contract) The sidekick 3 would probably be the better phone, but for a 13 yr old kid, I would just get them a simple inexpensive phone for their first phone. Kids always lose their phones or drop them and then you have to buy a whole new phone so it %26#39;s better just to go with a regular phone like a razr, krzr, or the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic - Lilac is a good phone if she would like music on her phone also. That is just my opinion on kids with phones. I hope I was able to help you and good luck. 13 is too young to get a sidekick 3 tell her if she wants a SGH-C417 i think it is better than both of them it is a simple phone
