i would go for the samsung D900i / F300 or the sony ericsson K800i these phone are really good happy hunting and GL virgin mobil Try AT%26T (formerly Cingular). They have different prepaid plans and pricing.

The key point for you is that ANY phone that AT%26T sells can be used for pay as you go. THat includes high-end phones like smartphones (e.g. Motorola Q), RAZR V3xx, Samsung Sync, etc. That means you can get basically ANY feature: camera, MP3 player, video player/recorder, PDA, whatever.

Just browse a store or online, pick out a phone, and they%26#39;ll put a prepaid SIM card in it on the spot. You even have 30 days to return the phone for free if you don%26#39;t like it.

Good luck. Virgin mobile is my personal favorite because i like to text a lot. If you like to talk more than you text i would suggest getting net 10, if it%26#39;s available in your area. I would NOT suggest at%26t though because they have so many hidden charges, even with pay as you go! the flashy phones of at%26t just aren%26#39;t worth it. the sony eric w550i Phones:

The Sony Ericsson W580i is a really nice phone which comes in at ￡149.99. But if your budget won%26#39;t stretch that far then have a look at W850i which is ￡99.99 at carphone warehouse at the moment. Both are really nice phones with 2mp cameras, Track Id and come with 512mb memory cards

Networks:

02 is a good pay as you go network with its free text incentives Orange also does something like this but you need to top up by ￡30 a month to get 1000 messages. o2 is a good network company
