I%26#39;m moving to the UK (Birmingham specifically) in a bit and I was wondering which mobile phone service was the best i.e. most cost-effective, reliable and flexible. I hope to have a prepaid (monthly bills) plan.
Thanks!

I%26#39;m on orange but i can%26#39;t get a signal when i sit under my stairs. Try this website. It gives you all latest deals.
http://www.mobdeal.com/index.asp... Pretty much the whole of the UK has mobile coverage, and certainly all major cities have hundreds of cell sites. Without knowing your calling patterns (i.e. when you call, who you call for how long, how often you text etc) nobody can say which package would suit you best. The best advice I can give is to pop into your local phone shops and see what they can do, you will need to have a vague idea of what you want to use the phone for, when, how often. Either that or ask your friends what network they are with, how they find the service, reliability, cost etc. I%26#39;m with David on this, Birmingham is the UK%26#39;s second city so will have fantastic coverage from all the major vendors.
Just look at:

Another note is that prepaid refers to a customer who places an amount of credit on their account and then uses it, postpaid is a monthly contract (and always better value).
