Wheres the ESN?? help!?

i just got a Samsung SCH-u340 with Verizon Wireless and i tried to activate it online and it asked me for the ESN andi wasnt sure if it was both numbers over the barcodes or just the first one. i put the first one with 11 numbers instead of the 6 hex one and then when i called the number for the activation 5 mins later it said programming failed and it was unable to activate and i called again and it said the same thing. is the ESN both numbers over the barcodes? what should i do???

I don%26#39;t have your specific phone but the ESN and HEX numbers are located underneath the battery. If it won%26#39;t activate online my advise would be to go online, get the customer service phone number and call them. I had to do this when I could not activate my daughter%26#39;s old pink razr when her new LG Chocolate was at LG being de-possessed.
